Current Opportunity

Role: Cybersecurity Sales Consultant 

(Independent Contractor - 100% commission-based) 


Location: Remote. Currently hiring across Canada, the United States, and Europe 


Compensation: 100% commission-only, with a percentage of net revenue on collected deals. Commission structure is tailored within a defined range based on experience, track record, market access, and the value you bring to Cybersnap  


Benefits: No salary or employer‑provided benefits (health or otherwise)

Important: This is a full-autonomy, commission-only independent contractor role with no salary, draw, or employer-provided benefits. Please only express interest if you are serious about a commission-only opportunity and prepared to build your own pipeline, invest in your own success, and operate with a high degree of ownership.


Commission amounts are paid in the same currency as the revenue you generate (for example, deals closed in USD pay commission in USD; deals closed in CAD pay commission in CAD), following our standard contracting and payout processes.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and engage prospective clients through outbound prospecting and networking.


  • Book and run discovery calls and sales meetings with decision‑makers.


  • Present Cybersnap’s people‑first cybersecurity training, certification, and education solutions, including how they reflect each client’s unique cyber-DNA, in a clear, credible way as a trusted cybersecurity sales consultant.


  • Manage your pipeline from first contact through to close, including follow‑up and objection handling.


  • Collaborate with the Cybersnap team to ensure a smooth hand‑off from sale to delivery and to continuously improve messaging.

  • You set your own targets: You define your income and deal goals; there are no surprise top‑down quota changes that jump from “reasonable” to “unreachable” year over year.


  • Full autonomy: Work remotely on your own schedule, from anywhere within our hiring regions.


  • Ongoing training and support: Receive continuous training on cybersecurity fundamentals, our programs, and ethical, effective sales, so you’re not left to figure it out alone.


  • A brand that backs you: Use Cybersnap’s reputation, content, and case studies to support your outreach and build trust with prospects.


  • Real impact: Help organizations reduce human‑driven incidents, improve reporting, and strengthen online safety for staff, students, and communities.

Commissions are paid based on collected revenue, with transparent reporting so you always know where you stand. Earnings potential depends on the activity you put in, the opportunities you pursue, and how you build your pipeline, but you are never left to figure it out alone. We join key meetings as needed while you ramp up so you can learn how to position Cybersnap, articulate our value, and move deals forward with confidence.


While your results ultimately depend on you, we are committed to supporting you with training, coaching, and active participation in early sales conversations so you can build momentum and skills over time. 

What We Expect From You

  • Proven success in outbound sales and closing B2B or similar consultative deals.


  • Strong communication, listening, and follow‑up skills, comfortable speaking with executives and other decision‑makers.


  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required; proficiency in French or other European languages is an asset.


  • Comfortable working remotely with reliable internet and personal devices.


  • Proficiency with CRM tools such as HubSpot or similar platforms.


  • Proper cybersecurity infrastructure (for example, VPN, password manager, and two‑factor authentication), with Cybersnap assisting you in setup and compliance.


  • Minimum cybersecurity certification, such as an entry‑level ISC2 CC or similar credential, or a clear plan to obtain one within an agreed timeframe.


  • Commitment to the targets you set for yourself, and a willingness to review activity and results openly so we can support you in hitting them.


  • Professional representation of Cybersnap, especially if you list us as your primary or full‑time employer, through consistent effort, integrity, and alignment with our mission.

  • You already hold an entry-level cybersecurity certification or are willing to obtain one within an agreed timeframe.
